# Accountant

The Accountant is the assistant that keeps your books tidy. It reads the invoice and receipt mail, sorts expenses, summarizes a month, drafts the invoice you need to send, and writes the polite reminder for the one that is overdue.

## What it will do

- Sort invoice, receipt, and expense email so nothing gets lost.
- Pull the key details out of an invoice into a clean table.
- Categorize expenses and flag unusual spend.
- Summarize a finance folder or a month of spending.
- Draft invoices and payment reminders.
- Build a month-end checklist for you and your advisor.

## What it never does

> [!IMPORTANT]
> The Accountant never charges a customer and never sends an email without your Approve. Drafts stay drafts until you approve them, and a charge names the exact amount on the Approve card first.

It prepares and organizes your records. It does not replace your advisor, and it does not file taxes.
